As adults, we often seek teachings that offer methods of movement, breath, and mindfulness to help relieve stress and anxiety. These practices help guides us towards better health and ease of living in a hectic world. Our children often struggle finding their own way in this fast-paced world. Often feeling overwhelmed by distractions, fear, worry, lack of control and low self-esteem which can lead to many struggles.
Children and teens today face a fast-paced age of technology and mainstream social media, all while carrying high levels of expectation, often without the tools to support them in achieving their best. The practice of qigong is beneficial for the younger generation in so many ways. One of the greatest aspects of qigong is how accessible it is at any age or fitness level. Whether teenage or younger, youths are finding great aid and comfort as they utilize this ancient healing practice. Qigong offers kids the opportunity to strengthen their mental and physical development, which in turn, fosters a more peaceful, healthy mind and body.

Designed to support your professional and personal goals, this program provides training, practice and mentoring. Be inspired to integrate creative new ways to support the younger generation at home, in school or in therapeutic settings. Included in this training will be class sequencing, basic understanding of qigong, and movements for two age groups: ages 7-11 and 12-17. You will learn both and feel comfortable teaching either.
2022 DATES/LOCATIONS: Each class consists of a day long 9-3:30pm (live) with one hour for lunch and two (on line) 75 min. classes which will be scheduled before end of full day class.

The core study in Qigong for Younger Generation Teacher Training includes a high overview of qigong theory in which breath, movement and stillness are combined to cultivate and bring energy flow into harmony. Students will be empowered to teach qigong classes and will have comprehensive knowledge of class structure including flow, breath work, and movements.. You will learn to teach from a heart-centered place and learn more about yourself. Your training will include an experienced team of teachers while gathering in a safe, welcoming virtual environment while feeling comfortable teaching new tools to youth to reduce stress and develop self-control, attention, resiliency and social/emotional skills.
Manual will be provided and no special equipment is necessary.
